About the Company
After few years of success following the purchase of Newport Fish, the largest fish store in the GTA, José and Dulce Cerqueira, together with their sons, decided to venture into a different company, on January 2001. Thus, Unicer Foods was born.
Unicer Foods offers a beautiful space where clients can find the delicious flavours and foods of Portugal, readily available in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Unicer Foods prides itself in being a wholesaler and importer of food products, as well as all kinds of frozen fish and seafood, groceries, cheese, and a few gourmet specialities.
Under the guidance of Joe and Dulce Cerqueira, the staff at Unicer Foods is committed to offering an excellent customer service. Their mission is to make available to all its customers the finest of products. At the core of the company is Joe’s experience of more than twenty years in customer service, which has taught him the importance of caring about each person that walks into the door as well as treating them like family.
